Ángela Nakab Pediatrician
Who I am?
I am Angela Nakab, mom, grandmother, partner, passionate pediatrician and parenting consultant, with more than four decades of experience.
My story in the world of medicine began in 1983, and since then, each experience was very valuable, enriched my practice and left marks on my path.
Mother of 1 daughter and 1 son, unique, essentially good people, restless and committed.
2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter, beautiful, fun and lovable.
A loving companion, always.
This facet of my life is not only an infinite source of love, but it generated a special perspective on my medical practice.
An intimate understanding of the joys and challenges families face shaped my approach, allowing me to be more than a pediatrician, but an ally in parenting.
How did I get here?
- Specialist in Pediatrics, since 1989, Specialist in Adolescence. So long ago, 2000Head of the Multipurpose Day Hospital of the Pedro Elizalde Children's Hospital, where I accompany thousands of family stories, which inspire me to offer an empathetic and family-centered approach.Master in Family, to understand a little moreDiploma in Medical Education, so as not to stop studying and teaching. University professor, coordinating the Rotating Internship in Pediatrics at the University of Salvador. Parenting advisor. Accompanying the reality of parenting every day. Director for 25 years of the Practical Strategies in Ambulatory Pediatrics Course, intended for professionals. Secretary Coordinator of the Media and Communication Subcommittee in the Argentine Society of Pediatrics, where I contribute to disseminating valuable information for families. Member of the teaching team of the National Pediatric Update Program, PRONAP, for more than 30 years. Unique in its characteristics in Latin America.
In both of my pediatric practices, I find the opportunity to make personal connections with families, offering guidance and support as we navigate parenting together.
